Mind
What your team is working towards and what kanman knows: the board, outcomes, stories and memory.
A team’s Mind is the first tab of the team. It holds two things:
- The board: what the team works towards (outcomes) and the stories that get it there, from Backlog to Done. It mirrors your tracker, or is the team’s own board if you have none.
- Memory: what kanman knows about the team beyond the code: decisions, conventions, who to ask, how each repository builds and tests, the documents it reads and the services the team runs. Every entry says where it came from and whether it is still true.
You rarely need to search the Mind: ask kanman, and it answers from the same place, with links.

Flow and the manager board
See each outcome as one card on the board and open its own board, see work in progress against its limits and how long each story has been in flight, and read your team's flow: how fast stories finish, the pace, a forecast and how long work waits for people. kanman prepares a morning brief, a weekly delivery review with replenishment and a retrospective prompt.
Outcomes
Outcomes are how kanman thinks about your team's work: goals in plain language above the stories, created where the work starts, with progress, health and a lifecycle. Where you see what needs you, what happens now, what was done since you were away and what comes next, and the Teams page with one row per team.
How kanman orders a goal's stories
When an outcome has several stories, kanman plans it as a whole: the order, what each story relies on, which files each one changes. It keeps two runs out of the same files, re-plans when something changes and says so in one sentence, and checks the combined result once the last story landed.
Memory and skills
What kanman and your team know beyond the code, and the procedures kanman follows: every entry names its sources, shows how current it is and who changed it.
Skills library and sharing
Add ready-made skills to a team from kanman's library, share a team's skill with the whole workspace, see which teams use it and how current it is, and make a habit of a skill.
