kanman
One teammate for the whole team that each of you can also talk to privately.
kanman is your team’s own assistant: one teammate for the whole team, which each of you can also talk to privately. It is the same kanman in two places:
- Your team’s chat, shared by everyone in the team. There kanman serves the team, follows the team’s rules and remembers what the team knows.
- Personal, your private chat. There it serves only you. Beside it, For you shows what waits on you, what kanman keeps an eye on for you and how you like to work.
kanman does the work itself: it plans stories, writes the code with its helpers, checks every change and merges it. It says “I”, shows its proof, and asks a person only what it cannot find out itself, once, in one place. You find it in the app, in Slack and Microsoft Teams, on your merge requests and in your coding tool.

Talk to kanman
Your workspace opens on a conversation with kanman: see what happened, answer what needs you, ask questions and describe new work, all in one place.
Ask about the code
Ask kanman where something is handled, why it is built this way, what changed last week or who knows a part of the code. Every answer links the files and lines, pull requests, decisions and stories it stands on.
Personal and For you
Personal is your private chat with kanman. For you is the page beside it that shows what is current for you: what waits on you, what kanman keeps an eye on, your habits and how you like it. Everything changes through the chat.
Working with kanman
How you and kanman share a team's work: who works a story, handing work back and forth with assignment and notes, the questions kanman bundles for you, and what you see while it works.
Questions from kanman
kanman asks a person only what it cannot find out itself. Its questions for you are pinned in your chat, each asked once, with the options it sees.
Mentions and assignments
Mention kanman or assign it work in GitHub, GitLab and Jira like any colleague. kanman answers where you wrote, links the conversation, and starts work through your team's usual path.
Debriefs, Later and calmer updates
After a story or an outcome is delivered, kanman writes a short debrief: what was planned and what was done, where the plan changed and why, what it left for later, what went well and what was hard. Items left for later become stories, so nothing silently disappears. And team chats stay calm: story cards speak up when something is delivered or needs you, not at every step.
Working hours and reachability
When kanman works for a team, how soon it answers, what waits for the working hours, the handoff note when a run waits on people, and the daily update you can ask for.
