Help in the app
Find the right documentation page from inside kanman and get in touch with support.
kanman links you to the right documentation page from where you are, so you do not have to search for it.
Help menu
The help button (question mark) in the header opens Help Resources:
- Getting Started: the getting started section of this documentation
- Keyboard Shortcuts: the shortcut overlay (also
?) - Full Documentation: this site, in your interface language
Help icons on pages
Small help icons next to section titles link directly to the documentation for that part of the app. For example:
| Where | Links to |
|---|---|
| Settings, Members | Workspace, members and roles |
| Settings, AI providers | What model providers see |
| Settings, Billing | Plans and billing |
| Settings, Git | Connect GitHub |
| Settings, Webhooks | Webhook events |
| Settings, API | REST API |
| Your settings, Profile, Security and Accessibility | Profile, Account security, Accessibility |
Hover over an icon to see a short explanation, click it to open the page in a new tab. Links open in your interface language (English or German).
Messages that explain themselves
When kanman stops a run or a gate fails, the message says what happened and what you can do, for example “Spec mocks its own target: route interception of /api/invoices” or “Path infra/alarms.tf is not allowed by policy Balanced”.
Asking kanman
For questions about your own work, ask kanman directly in a team’s intake, for example “what is blocking SBX-12?”. kanman recognises this as a status question and answers in the conversation. Status answers are never written to your repository or tracker.
Contacting support
Write to [email protected]. Include your workspace name and, if it is about a run, the run key (for example run-7f3k). We can find the run, its evidence and its audit entries from that.
Service status is shown at status.kanman.ai.
